INBOX: Independent Nebraska Senate candidate Dan Osborn to host a press conference next week, “definitively” answering whether he’ll vote along Democrat or Republican lines.
Osborn has gained traction in the race, generating buzz around which party he’d vote with if elected.
Sen. Warnock considers the midterms a "spiritual undertaking" and the country at an "inflection point" as 2028 nears.
The Georgia senator embraced his faith in his sweep through Nevada and told The Sun that his party should do the same.

⭐ Georgia's state commissioner says nothing will change for people with disabilities.
But Georgia may have a new commissioner in January, following the midterm elections.
A new governor will have control over a disability care system with a new lack of federal oversight.
The disability advocacy community has been abuzz about a new DOJ order.
But what does "a lack of federal oversight" mean? I spent a month looking into this question.
I read hundreds of pages of independent reports on Georgia's disability care system. What I found in thread⬇️
⭐There's not been an independent report on Georgia's disability filed since 2024.
So, I spoke with Elizabeth Jones, the independent monitor, who said there would be a new report on disability care in Georgia in October.
The report will detail state progress on the settlement.
⭐The independent monitor and Georgia agreed to stop monitoring some compliance requirements in 2024.
They stopped monitoring the number of ACT teams — rapid-response care available across the state.
Georgia cut one of its required teams this January, citing lack of demand.
⭐Georgia's disability care system has been federally overseen since 2010.
It's because of a settlement connected to a SCOTUS case.
An independent monitor has filed public reports on Georgia's progress toward compliance with the federal government's requirements since 2011.
A federal order signals the government may no longer enforce in-home care for people with disabilities.
