We're reminding people with front gardens to leave their Xmas trees there and we'll collect them free of charge. People who dump them on pavements cause difficulties for people in wheelchairs, children in buggies and those who are blind/partially sighted. Please think of others!
There will be a lot of time to reflect.
What I'd finish by saying is: to those who fought so hard, and believed in a new society free of injustice, be proud of what you did, look after yourselves, prepare to fight, and never, ever give up.
@centreforlondon ..such as fixing uneven pavements and moving dockless bikes strewn across them. Also sharing data about whether or not lifts/ escalators are working at stations - 'accessibility is important but so is reliability' #FairerTransport
Feeling much more clued up on transport accessibility after @centreforlondon's Fair Access launch this morning. So many relatively small/easy changes (that we don't normally consider as non-disabled people) could be made which would hugely improve travel for disabled people
