1/ AI’s next leap won’t come from bigger models; it’ll come from better data.
Transparent. High-quality. Human-verified.
That future starts today with the launch of the Perle Labs beta 🧵👇

@joshxhowie@leecarps@ByDonkeys Funny you didn't answer to anybody who pointed out that you use an old projection as source. So it would be up to you to first prove your claim which you can't.
@CanuckRage@iloveidpol@joshxhowie@ByDonkeys No, you can't do it too obvious as they would lose more international support than they already did. Hell, even the Nazis tried to hide the extent and true scale of the Holocaust as much as they could, even after losing the war. What are you even talking about?
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion 3. This practice by Israel is well documented and this case is not unique, so I'm not sure why you are closing your eyes:

@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion 2. Okay. But if someone accuses Israeli forces of a crime, who will decide if that's the case or not? Would that not be based on an investigation? Why would Israel not release their findings if they have nothing to hide? If something looks like a fish, smells like a fish...
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion 1. I don't have to, as Israel contradicted its own claims in unrelated reports of their operations. They then removed the reports. Also PRCS revealed that Israel never contacted them as they claimed. Lastly investigations by Washington Post and experts contradict Israel.
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion 1. Israel already agreed to investigate - so it does not really matter if they had to. They started it, and then ended up in lies... What motive could they possibly have to lie?
2. Just theoretically, assuming it was not Israel, who do you think would have jurisdiction?
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion ...and further that the army's investigative mechanisms are not adequate as the data shows that "even when the army does investigate, it does not lead to justice," with just 5 criminal prosecutions, 2% of all complaints received, in 2019–2020."

@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion "The Israeli human rights organization Yesh Din analyzed Israeli military records on prosecutions resulting from military investigations and found that Israeli forces have "near-total impunity from prosecution in cases in which Palestinians were harmed by IDF soldiers",..."
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion Israel should release the results of their so called 'investigation'. The fact that they repeatedly lied during the process and even contradicted themselves in an unrelated press release about their operations which was then conveniently deleted is at least a strong indication...
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion The bottom line here is, no accountability. And this case only blew up and got lots of attention because of the vivid phone call... There's countless other such cases which are simply forgotten.
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion Well, that was the claim of the victims and Israel said they would investigate the incident. The results of which can be seen in the video.... But at this point let's just agree to disagree...
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion ... But in practice countless investigations are just stalled forever and in the vast majority of the cases they are just forgotten with no accountability.
If the legal system was that effective as you seem to believe, the perpetrator would be held accountable accordingly.
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion How do you know they are not known? That and other conclusions should be the outcome of the investigation which ought to happen but apparently was never done or at least the result were never presented and it was lied along the way.
@addp1988@JustLurkingHre@Noahpinion Sure, I think it will work as effectively as Israel investigating its own war crimes:

Their checks and balances seem to work just fine...
