@McClureShawn @JaneCaro I’m from a family of atheists but went to a Christian school. The wife of a priest religion teacher I had at 15 posed this very argument and I (a child!) said “but I don’t believe in god, and I don’t think I’m a BAD person” Her reply: “that depends on your understanding of bad”.

@hannahfearn Awful…we pay upwards of $180p/day in many parts of Sydney - govt subsidies indexed to income are kicking in to help but this also pushes the fees up. The last average property price figure I heard had was around 1.3 million. Very hard not to feel very trapped. Fun times

@marrowing Is this an Eleanor thing because I had this as well as plantar fasciitis! Had foul teen acne (which apparently is rosacea) from 6 mths post baby. Only fixed w/antibiotics once I stopped feeding at 19 mths - that was a long year of looking simultaneously 14 and 1 million years old

@thelucybloom @MelanieTait Can I ask how they cocked up? I had a similar thing when I discovered about 6 years into my mortgage that they had me on an investor rather than owner occupier rate. I’d lived in the apartment the whole time. It was clear they’d done it knowingly…all very dodgy.

@girdley @dfkenn I mean I would bet my life and family on a place with, just off the top of my head - gun control, universal health care and paid parental leave. It’s really great not having to worry about my children being shot in their classrooms 🤷🏼‍♀️

@marrowing Ugh I don’t…I stupidly just put up with it but found it hurt mostly first thing in the AM and at night. Don’t think I’ve felt it much this year so maybe 10 months? Had lots of dental problems after my first pregnancy which is also common 🤷🏼‍���️ Wtf. There needs to be a BETTER SYSTEM

@marrowing Fellow Eleanor with sore feet here. Your post made me realise my plantar fasciitis started with pregnancy too, but also that 14 months on it’s all but gone. I’m sure I should have seen a podiatrist but I didn’t want to be told not to wear ridiculously unsupportive (flat) shoes

And not the way anyone of good character or with any kind of compassion or moral fibre would react. Absolutely inhuman. Watch for yourself.
