The black executive in music is getting removed and replace systematically. Black women are the first to go in these industry lay offs. Which is the biggest mistake. Black women is where everything dope in the culture comes from. They are the culture. Smh

AZ Chike sat down with Steelo Brim and Travis Bennett on The Shop to break down the power of mentorship (big homies), surviving the pressure of the big co-sign from Kendrick Lamar & his team and why mental hygiene is non-negotiable on the rise to the top.

A YouTuber built a DIY Flock-style camera that only tracks police vehicles—cheap Amazon cam, laptop, and AI that flags cop cars, reads plates, and maps the data.
Cops showed up at his door asking what he planned to do with all that information.
His reply: that’s the exact question citizens ask when you point the same tech at us.
Surveillance feels different once the cameras turn around. Karma.
I had to tell Rapsody what it meant to hear her verse on “Complexion” from To Pimp a Butterfly as a teenager and how much it impacted me. Over a decade later, it’s still one of my favorite verses in rap EVER

Police violently beat Hispanic man—because he hurt their feelings.
Body slam him to ground—repeatedly punch his face.
"Cop attacked him because of something said that he didn't like," said witness.
"Any normal person would obviously try to block someone from punching them."
"Irrelevant whatever he said—learn your constitutional rights!" another witness said.
"Even if they had reason to apprehend him this is excessive use of force!"
The incident occurred in Santa Ana, California.

The head of America’s most infamous hate group, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), has told Al Jazeera that support is up ahead of the US midterm elections because of the current political climate.
But how relevant is its message in 2026?
Al Jazeera’s Phil Lavelle reports.
Ibrahim Traore was right to undertake a complete overhaul of the Burkinabe school curriculum and text book to remove some of the nonsense that is being taught in African schools to our children.
For example, children are thought the following nonsense, which could not be further from reality:
Mongo park discovered river Niger
Zambezi river discovered by David Livingstone
Victoria falls discovered by David Livingstone.
Orange river, discovered by European explorers.
So the people that lived and fished in those communities didn't know that the river existed, until the Europeans came.
It is not only Burkinabe Faso education system that needs complete change, the entire frican education system needs a total overhaul, too.
Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 has taken the lead
A coercive suicide during an eviction posted earlier is stirring people up. This is almost routine. Another eviction: Isadore Monroe. He was 107, being evicted, under SWAT attack by robots and every war toy SWAT has until killed in his bed. He had locked himself into his bedroom with a gun under SWAT attack. Cops sent a robot and "feared for their lives" when their invading robot (cops safely outside) saw a 107-year-old man with a rusty pistol sitting in his bed in his locked bedroom, desperately trying to defend himself in his home from eviction. 107. Does this society respect anything? He was a WWII vet with a story, someone whom we should have helped and elevated and learned from. He had a life, dignity, a story and had survived Jim Crow in Arkansas, a world war and whatever led him to this sad end. We must become aware of the many coercive suicides under police attack (several hundreds annually, we track all of them) and also all deaths during eviction such as Isadore Monroe. When police show up for eviction, often with SWAT, a war begins to flush a resident out. It often ends with either a desperate suicide under police attack or being shot outright by the uniformed invaders.
Remember Isadore Monroe.
Never forget what white folks did to his body. He was beheaded, dissected, and skinned. They cut off body parts to keep and made a purse of his skin. His skull was passed down thru generations for 180yrs before it was returned to his descendants.
Never let them call us animals.
