@Lifeistryingit @JTorreCoaching it is entitlement. i don’t deserve to be financially punished for my time and effort. my entire paycheck is based on tips. i didn’t expect anything based off talking to them except to make sure they don’t do it to another server - one who might be living paycheck to paycheck.

My daughter works as a server and a college-aged group left a $4 tip on a $100 bill.

When she noticed she found them outside and asked if there was anything wrong with the service.

Nope, they just ran out of money.

She learned the parents of this group were also there, and when they happened to ask her for help tracking down their server...

She made the decision to mention the bill.

The dad tipped her 30%.

Two lessons here:

• ASK. If you don't ask, you don't get.

• BUDGET for the TIP. If you can't afford to tip, you ordered wrong.

Proud of my girl. Today she's asking about a tip, tomorrow it could be about job, a raise, a promotion...🙌
