@NatashaHodgson There’s a fab book called ‘My Garden is a Car Park and other dilemmas’ (I think) and it’s SO brilliant - full of great ideas and practical stuff for a variety of spaces, I’m so excited and inspired every time I read it
This is an excellent bit of comms by Labour. Jon Richardson, in a bath with a beer, telling you how Sunak made his millions from the downfall of our economy.
Really important message, brilliantly delivered.
@AmandaChadburn I’d be tempted to say 50’s? (I’ve nothing to base it on though but the lines in it seem similar to old carpets we had in our house from the mid 50’s)
@GardenBrocante No thoughts on mixing it with other flowers, but I’ve just seen some red roses climbing beside a dark green door - and the dark green looked fabulous, made me think about the clarity of rich colours with dark leaves / backgrounds 😊
The most grotesque aspect of this never-gonna-happen National Service reboot is the sight of the generation that had everything handed to them on a plate telling current teenagers - to whom the British state has given precisely FUCK ALL - that it’s “time they gave something back”
Oh and speaking for my own teenage kids - they did their national service by abiding by the rules of lockdown, getting their jabs and doing their bit for this country even as their education was shot to pieces. Meanwhile the fuckers in the fucking Tory party partied and ate cake.
