I am the Ukrainian skeleton racer who was wrongfully disqualified from the Olympics last month because of my “Memory Helmet.”

Tonight in Milano-Cortina, the Paralympic Games are opening. The Committee has bizarrely permitted Russian soldier-athletes to participate under the Russian flag.

The head of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) literally stated that they don’t care about what Russian soldiers did in Ukraine. The problem is that we do care.

They are killing Ukrainians on the battlefield, bombing our cities, and committing genocide. Now, with this step of allowing them to compete, the IPC is giving them the opportunity to continue committing genocide by spreading Russian narratives with Russian flags and symbols.

They try to manipulate the situation by pointing out that the movement started after World War II, but during World War II the Olympic Games were cancelled, and German athletes were not invited and did not take part in the Games until 1952.

It looks like the head of the IPC doesn’t know the history of the Olympic and Paralympic movement at all.
What a shame.
This whole story is just getting worse and worse.

Il perché io me la prenda con i main sponsor della Festa del @fattoquotidiano (@EnelGroupIT, @Barilla, @PosteItaliane e @intesasanpaolo) è che in alcuni casi questo contributo è stato concesso in modo così convinto che agli utenti sono persino arrivati via sms inviti a partecipare. A cosa? Alla più massiccia opera di manipolazione della verità, revisionismo storico e divulgazione di menzogne negazioniste e giustificazioniste della guerra genocida russa che sia stata finora prodotta in tutta Europa.

Lo screenshot che ritrae @marcotravaglio è tratto da un video di quasi due ore realizzato durante l’evento al Circo Massimo, nel quale vengono riaffermate senza un filo di vergogna tutte le balle della propaganda del Cremlino in modo così fedele e assertivo, da rendere Travaglio, insieme al “circo” (appunto) del suo giornale, il massimo rappresentate della macchina di disinformazione di Mosca in Italia (e non solo).

Il fatto che aziende a partecipazione pubblica come Enel e Poste ed altre che hanno un ruolo di rilievo nel governo di istituzioni statali come Intesa (che detiene circa il 4,5% del capitale sociale della Banca D’Italia), siano in qualche modo complici dell’infiltrazione della propaganda di uno stato “sponsor del terrorismo” all’interno del dibattito pubblico del nostro paese non può passare sotto silenzio.

Perché @GiorgiaMeloni, @GuidoCrosetto e @Antonio_Tajani possono fare tutte le dichiarazioni pro-Kyiv più belle e forti del mondo, ma se non sono nemmeno in grado di far sì che pezzi dello Stato alimentino la guerra ibrida di un governo criminale - ignorando anche le innumerevoli segnalazioni di proiezioni di contenuti sanzionati fatte al ministro @Piantedosim - sono a tutti gli effetti conniventi con chi vuole corrodere dall’interno la nostra democrazia.
