The last concert I had tickets for I was in hospital. The one before that was cancelled with no reason given. The one before that was cancelled for pandemic reasons. I swear I’ve been to concerts before, in the distant past.

I’m tired all the time because of radiation and cancer and not sleeping and I just want to do one activity that isn’t resting so I thought I’d make banana bread but I’ve just spent the past hour on the couch trying to find the strength to stand.

I had to sit down, the measurements weren’t exact, but I made banana muffins and they’re in the oven. :) :) :) :)

Time to nap until the timer goes off and hope they turned out okay.

I may be on couch/bed rest since discharge and I may only have one working eye right now but they proved I didn’t have a stroke and my ears work just fine!

It’s a high claim but I have the best mum. I genuinely could not function without her.

Today I cried because my pupils are irregularly dilated so I can’t see properly and I need to go to a doctor but my whole life is doctors and I can’t bear the idea of another so my Mum called to make the appointment and yes I’m 30 years old.

found out the date I’m getting surgery to remove the tumour and the timing means I can no longer get to the @florencemachine concert that I have a ticket for. 🥲 missing a concert to save my life is a valid reason and I’m okay with it but I will sulk for at least ten minutes.
