With just only 8 SOLD-OUT shows, BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour has already grossed $76.2 MILLION and sold 417K tickets, ranking as Billboard’s No. 1 touring act of April 2026.
According to The New York Times, BTS, Shakira and Madonna will not be paid to headline the halftime show at the men’s 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
Sources say the artists are donating their performances in support of Global Citizen.
Shakira opens up about performing with BTS and Madonna at the FIFA World Cup:
— “I’ve spent my life doing two things: making songs and building schools. At the FIFA World Cup, those two paths come together. Standing alongside Madonna and BTS, I’ll be performing ‘Dai Dai,’ the song I created for this World Cup and for the kids around the world we will reach with the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.”
BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ @bts_bighit 🌎🇰🇷
BTS in Mexico comes to an end but with an extremely dedicated nation, with ARMYs attending at 50,000 at the Zócalo in a last minute of 5 hours to over 160,000 being outside without tickets just to hear them sing.
With an estimated attendance surpassing 300,000 from ARMYs inside and outside the stadium, BTS would need to accomodate 7 dates or 4 dates at Estadio Azteca, the largest stadium in Latin America, and that may not be enough.
With proof of how extremely demanding the ARMYs are in Mexico to see them, they would need to accommodate a crowd closest to Shakira’s, who held 13 shows at GNP or upgrade to Azteca, 4 dates minimum which has a capacity of 87,523, without floor. After the three shows, expectations for a return will be beyond demand.

BTS will unveil a surprise new track.
On April 3, BTS will release the Deluxe Vinyl edition of their 5th full-length album ARIRANG. This vinyl includes the original 14 tracks along with an additional surprise song, “Come Over,” bringing the total to 15 tracks. Notably, this new song is available exclusively on the Deluxe Vinyl, adding to its special value.
“Come Over” was produced by Suga, further elevating its quality, with RM and J-Hope also credited on the track. Blending a stadium anthem with pop elements, the song features spacious synthesizers and resonant vocals that create a grand, immersive sound. A heavy beat—evoking the stomping and clapping of a packed stadium—combines with a gently flowing guitar melody to enhance its atmosphere.
The lyrics—“When a night that feels empty comes / I call out to you again / Yeah I’m lost, can I come over”—express the feeling of searching for “you” even in moments of being lost. This honest confession, of knocking on a door after wandering and asking to be accepted, ultimately connects to BTS’s heartfelt message toward ARMY, the fans who have always stood by their side.

BTS' "SWIM" is challenging for a #1 debut on next week's Hot 100.
It would mark the group’s seventh #1 hit, which would give them one for every member.
