@ndumzco@zenzele@advocatemahere My thought would be to silently provide labour law legal support "IF THE YOUTHS SIGNED ANY CONTRACTS" . These youths were likely hand picked using Party structures.... or the money was released from upstairs and chowed downstairs b4 it reached the youths. Our country is messy.
@ndumzco@zenzele@advocatemahere I hear you loud and clear, and agree more than 100%. The challenge is, once we support the youth using vocals and social media, the regime will use it as proof that the youth are opposition. Anyone disagreeing is labeled Opposition.
I feel compelled to address the question of our relationship with ZANU PF members and supporters.
I do so in the context of the toxicity that now increasingly defines our engagements; where we have reduced everything to โusโ and โthem,โ and no longer judge issues on their merit. It has become so deep that even professionals who have aligned themselves with the opposition are now being told they cannot work for or with ZANU PF members and supporters. With CAB3, the absurdity has gone further: if you are ZANU PF, you are apparently not even entitled to criticize it.
It has not always been this way, and it must not be allowed to remain this way for one more day.
At the social level, there is no ruling party and opposition. We are families before we are political camps. Our political choices define our politics, not our humanity. That is why people can marry across political lines, do business across political lines, and even worship in the same church. That is what a normal country looks like; not the overly artificial divisions being forced upon us by social media. On this matter, social media has become thoroughly antisocial.
I understand that people are weary of sellouts. But maintaining a relationship with someone does not, by itself, make one a sellout.
Let me be clear: I have a deep revulsion toward ZANU PF. At times, it comes very close to hatred. But even so, ZANU PF members are Zimbabweans. They are not my enemies by virtue of being who they are; they are people with whom I simply hold different views. The difference is sincere, Iโm prepared to go to the grave in its attestation. But at times, even our private interests and concerns align.
So yes, let us oppose the ZANU PF way of doing things. The ZANU PF way is with respect a wrong way, totally and fundamentally objectionable in my view. Let us crush its politics of oppression, arrogance, corruption, avarice and misrule. But let us never lose our humanity in the process. Let love abound, and let us remain one people; for that is what we are.
@NtateRanaka So, what do need to do. We all know CAB3 is not good for the country, what we don't have is the strategy for stopping it from being passed.
@shamauswa But remember that the final decision does not depend on rational arguments but by senseless predetermined partisan votes. You may as well have been given the script by Zanny in order to appear like the matter was debated in parliament: No/debate+parly votes CAB3 still passes.
@BaBhunu@waltermzembi@MarlvinGudyanga@MadzibabaV Instead of fully blaming and focusing on the oppressors, Walter focuses on those that did not visit madzibaba, subliminally ramping up anti-opposition sentiment.
@waltermzembi@MarlvinGudyanga@MadzibabaV Solidarity in Zim is hard . Never blame so many in the opposition. Some who manage to go and are allowed must be scrutinized if they are really opposition except of course our Ostallos. Madzibaba welcome back , that's the nature of the struggle. Ziso pamuroyi
@shodza83@waltermzembi@MadzibabaV I suspect that most of the released are released ON CONDITION that they become fishing hook-and-worm or, at least, bolster the narrative that "opposition is ubuntu-less" and zanny is the ONLY meaningful entity.
@freemufumiri People shld realise ONE key trend. Whenever an advocate for democracy is put in prison or (as in the case of a certain Raymond) invited to State House, what happens after being released is predictable. They always come out changed: ANTI-Democracy & more Z$NU that it's founders
@hansgardelegen1@Gabriele_Corno You just are blind to human prowess. Please show me one non-human earthling that made the equivalent of an atomic arsenal and Hormuz blockade all as a demo for power.
@chiefnegomo7@CrimeWatchZW Th7nk so too. The real story might be a carnal issue of the Late having thucked the suspect's wife. Juju and drinking blood story is perhaps an intermediate story towards pleading insanity. Unfortunately we might not more of this after the first sensational headlines
@ZimGbc@ZUJOfficial@WorldBankAfrica The IMF's white washing might as well b an intervention whose theory is: If we say something +ve about this dying horse, investors might come in & inject the much needed financial stimuli. This might revive the dying horse. But this alone will NOT work & is counterproductive
@ZimGbc@ZUJOfficial@InfoMinZW@adventistchurch@churches Noble as these calls are, the "church people" need to realise tht church attendees hv lots of reasons 4 church. One reason could be self-affirmation. The need 2 feel who I truly am B4 God instead of who sexual perverts want me to be may lead 2 conflict of views. Check Matt 5:28
