@geordinhl@Our_DA Geordin. The 29k is since 1991. I stated in public that I am in a process of electronic bracelets for parolees. There is progress. I had a parole summit last year Sept on the revision of the parole system. We are busy with legislative amendments. Don’t practice cheap politics
According to @jsteenhuisen farmers are Afrimaga. His inner circle of @Our_DA Minister's concur including @geordinhl.
Now the chickens have come home to roost. So tell me @helenzille what are your thoughts of John absolutely getting obliterated in court?
You might call @FrancoisRosso15@TheoDJager@MulderCorn@vslandbou and many more Afrimaga but first of all we are farmers.
Farmers that care for our livestock, Farmers that do not bow to big Ag, Farmers that know the struggle and Farmers that will NOT BE BULLIED BY THE LIKE OF THE @Our_DA

“Only thing worse than a Communist, is an incompetent one”. Well here in South Africa we have both. It’s time for real change. @SecRubio

The worst insult a negotiator can get is for the party across the table from you to think that you're the best thing that ever happened to them.
That's the story of Roelf Meyer.
I will continue to repeat this lesson:
Never apologise when you've done nothing wrong and never apologise to people who hate you.
Your apology will be rejected and just be used as proof of your guilt and basis for your continued punishment and slander.
Legal threat by Mbalula to stop AfriForum’s media conference tomorrow: @afriforum will not be deterred and will continue.
A comprehensive dossier, titled the Mbalula Dossier, will be made public. The dossier will be used to help ensure that @MbalulaFikile, Secretary-General of the ANC, is held accountable.
Adv. Gerrie Nel will outline the allegations against Mbalula during the conference.
The conference will be streamed on AfriForum’s Facebook page on 25 March at 10:00.

For 230+ years, Graaff-Reinet stood.
Through frontier wars.
Through British rule.
Through the Union.
Through apartheid.
Through democracy.
And somehow, in 2024, we’re told the problem was the name.
Let’s call this what it is: political vandalism disguised as transformation.
You can’t build a legacy by renaming towns while the town itself crumbles. You don’t rewrite signboards while infrastructure collapses. You don’t lecture people about “progress” while delivering none.
Real leaders fix municipalities.
Weak leaders fix optics.
Changing Graaff-Reinet’s name did not create opportunity. It did not repair broken systems. It did not uplift the poor. It did not unite communities.
What it did do was send a clear message: symbolism matters more than substance.
And here’s the uncomfortable truth. Erasing historical names does not make a country stronger. It makes it fragile. A confident nation preserves its history and adds to it. An insecure political class tears down what it didn’t build.
Graaff-Reinet was part of South Africa’s documented, archived, lived history. Removing it doesn’t erase the past. It just proves that some politicians would rather fight ghosts than fix reality.
If renaming a town is your boldest move in office, that’s not leadership.
That’s distraction.
And the people of the Karoo deserve better than being used as a backdrop for sickening ideological experiments.
