No-one deserves it more - over 20 years of dedication to the town and its team. As Sophie says, there are definitely others who have played for @southport_wfc which deserve to go in, but she most certainly deserves to be the first! So very proud to have been asked to induct her.

@johngibbonsblog Yep, I was there. I knew this was the band for me when they first came out and Dave and Taylor attacked the drums in absolute perfect time with each other for what seemed like forever before launching into Monkey Wrench. Unreal.

@Th3m0ng51ay3r @southport_fc @BrakesOfficial I suppose it comes down to the fact that these are his players who he knows better than anyone, and he should have the chance to put things right. Simply changing the man at the top will not alter many (if any!) of what needs to improve - the first being crucially familiarity.

@Th3m0ng51ay3r @southport_fc @BrakesOfficial A good question. There was an improvement from Worksop to Fylde, and apparently the same last night from the weekend. He’s honest and forthright and doesn’t hide. He is trying to make massive changes in personnel and style to an unforgiving timescale.
