If you enter the building and descend a flight of stairs you end up at a generator room you can reactivate after solving a mathematical puzzle. This will let you open the door to a cache containing a blue page.
@nucknyan “nana nana boo boo” is definitely what I heard as a kid in central and coastal British Columbia. Don’t think I’ve ever heard “neener neener neener” in person although I’ve heard it in various media over the years, so it must be relatively common somewhere
Inductors are the most unserious component. You're telling me you just wrapped a wire a few times? And it's measured in Henry? Ok buddy, sure, how much Henry is it?
@nucknyan@paramitanoia I agree with 2, but I don’t think this is the argument this video is making. The Alignment Problem is a pretty real area of academic research, however hypothetical you may think it is. I don’t think anyone serious involved in this work is concerned about a terminator situation
@anthropoorlogy Maybe not everything is being re-written in Rust, but you might be surprised by how much is. I had a great experience writing some FW for the RP2040, and no C was required.
@lundstroem@James_M_South There are so many important programs you could list that don’t have Linux versions. But missing just the Adobe Suite or Microsoft Office would be a dealbreaker for a massive swath of all computer jobs.
