@Ezequielgi18404@Fxnniex@nacholozano Claro.
"B-but Communism works in theory and only fails because of human error!"
What is this? A system for ants?
You are designing a system for humans and didn't take human error into account?
"Communism only failed because it fell to treachery and outside influence!"
If your system can't handle real world scenarios then the system is garbage and not fit for purpose
The point of a theory is to prepare for real world application, to foresee and foreplan for real world scenarios
In the case of technology it's things like rust, wear and tea/weathering or physical attrition, spillage or accidental damage
In politics it's things like corruption, sabotage, war, espionage, scarcity, natural disasters, sanctions and blockades, national security threats such as terrorist attacks, crime, invasions whatever
Let's say you own a building, a hospital for example, and a fire breaks out so someone hits the alarm. But oh no! A gurney is blocking one of the doors and people can't get out through that route and loads of people die
What do you tell the firemen inspecting the wreckage?
What do you tell the families of the deceased?
That your fire preparation system works in theory?
NO! MORON! You fucked up because you didn't prepare alternate routes of exit in the event that one is blocked, YOU FUCKED UP! THE SYSTEM WAS A FAILURE
There are absolutely inevitably problems that cannot be accounted for, if a dinosaur-wiping-level meteor hit, it wouldn't be the fault of capitalism, communism, whatever, but that's not the case here
That's why negligence is a crime, and why fault is determined in a long, drawn out trial in which you conduct discovery and analysis of the evidence: A purely theoretical, post-mortem analytical exercise in order to determine fault, in order to determine where things went wrong and why and what COULD HAVE BEEN DONE INSTEAD
If your line is that communism failed because of corruption, then it is communism's fault for not being corruption-proof enough as a system to function in the real world
Saying "it works in theory" is functionally the same as saying "it works in my imagination"
You failed to interrogate the idea enough to account for real world scenarios such as the ones you cite as the cause for communisms' fall, in the USSR, China, Cuba, wherever
But also 1. It doesn't fucking matter if a system "works in theory/fantasy" if it doesn't work in the real world
And 2. It doesn't even work in theory, as many have illustrated by critiquing it on its own terms, IN THE WORLD OF THEORY
