Flipgrid allows for more interactive discussions & Kahoot is a great way to test their knowledge while also having fun! @teachsci8 #CSUBTed

@AlyssaS45323929 @teachsci8 R1: Hi Alyssa, I agree that the laptop loan program helped a lot of families with the virtual learning. Even though WiFi would still be needed, students can use google tools to work offline, as to not fall behind, and submit assignments once connected.

@teachsci8 A3: Some challenges that limit the technology in communities is the lack of internet connection & financial resources. Not every family can afford such luxuries so to make it more accessible we need lower internet costs & devices that could be borrowed from schools or libraries.

@teachsci8 A2: One app that can be beneficial to ELL students is Duolingo, since it has lessons that help with their vocabulary, speaking & listening skills, all of which are important when learning a new language.

It's great because it also saves your work automatically so you don't have to worry about losing your work.

It also makes it easier to remember useful info from videos shown in class rather than remembering strictly from the readings.
