Nnamdi Kanu Goes to Court Tomorrow

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is set to appear in court tomorrow, July 18, 2025, at the Federal High Court in Abuja before Justice James Omotosho. The hearing will focus on the adoption of written addresses concerning a no-case submission presented by Kanu's defense team, which is led by Kanu Agabi (SAN), after the prosecution concluded its case on June 19, 2025.

The defense contends that the prosecution has not succeeded in establishing a prima facie case against Kanu, who is facing seven counts of terrorism-related charges, to which he has entered a plea of not guilty. This trial has garnered considerable attention, with public opinion and calls for support for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Furthermore, the Kenyan High Court's decision on June 24, 2025, deemed Nnamdi Kanu's 2021 extradition from Kenya to Nigeria as unlawful, unconstitutional, and a breach of his fundamental rights, resulting in an award of 10 million Kenyan shillings (approximately ₦119.5 million) in damages.

While it is undeniable that some Igbo youths are engaged in kidnapping in Anambra, Soludo, as Governor, must remain impartial when discussing insecurity, particularly concerning issues like kidnapping, killings, organ trafficking, drug trafficking, political killings, and car theft in his state.

Soludo is selective with the truth since he is aware of more details, and we urge him to make public the identities of those Igbo kidnappers so that everyone will recognize who they are and who funds them because most of them works for politicians and rouge business men in Igboland .

A number of these criminals were brought into the state by his fellow politicians, and both the Anambra vigilantes and his “Udo ga Chi” security vigilantes are also engaged in kidnapping which Soludo cannot deny those facts .
Thus, let Soludo have the courage to release the identities of those Igbo youth kidnappers in his custody so we can inform him who they are and who they are associated within his state and beyond.

Visiting Maryland in the USA to talk with those naive so-called aspiring Igbo politicians is simply deceptive because election is around the corner .

For Soludo to exonerate the activities of Fulani herdsmen in Anambra represents the utmost level of self-deception.
