@MarianneInBxl @pahtakari @clhubes That's about how big my semi-detached house in Toronto is. Normal for an older house in the city, considered tiny by my family and friends in the suburbs. It would probably sell for a bit over $1M CAD today.
@TAsaro@BarrySchwartzBW People are going to hurt when their mortgages come up for renewal. That doesn't have anything to do with locking in variable rates. My fixed rate mortgage comes up for renewal in the summer, I'll be able to afford the increase but it'll be significant.
@helpisneeded420@VanmalaS The last three years they were capped at 1% because of Bill 124. Sure those terms were "agreed to" but they were bargaining with an employer that has the power to pass laws to supress their wages.
@cablecableinc we've had an ongoing internet outage for almost 20 hours at our property near Coboconk and have called support multiple times with no call back. Not at all impressed. Can you do anything to fix this?
@AndyGillmanNY @jduffyrice All synagogues in North America need, and have, security and have for a long time. Nearly every synagog I've been to in Canada has had security (usually police) for the high holidays.
@ironstonepd @imgrund@Crystal58117363 I wonder (pure speculation no evidence) if our school infrastructure is in worse shape. We have a lot of old schools poor FCI scores. I don't know how they compare to other jurisdictions though.
