Who remembers back in 2017 when it became apparent that $ETH was going to be the de facto smart contact platform that was used by most in this space.

If you're worried about the USDT depeg & you think it may spiral, here are 4 trades you can take now to protect your portfolio;

1. Sell you USDT into USDC now at a loss of 0,25% on CRV.

2. Get into BTC - We know that people exit into Bitcoin from the last times stablecoins depeg.

3. Long the USDC/USDT pair on leverage. The maximum loss in 0,35% and your upside is the full depeg x leverage. (watch out for the funding rate)

4. Deposit USDC on AAVE, borrow USDT against it, convert USDT back to USDC and wait for the depeg to happen - then repay your loan.

Number 3 is the smartest move from a risk:reward if you understand leverage.
