3 months ago, I needed a new generator and badly. Work was suffering. Clients no go understand say their work dey delay. And na big once-and-for-all-time things, me I dey buy.

I approached 2 clients I knew could probably foot that bill. The worst na 'No'

Yeah, I was desperate. But I was offering innumerable value. I thought they would jump at it 😀. They didn't. And with attitude.

I was advised by my own people to try CD Care.

God opened door and I got a job that paid for nearly half the cost of the generator.

Proposal. I will do their design problems, graphics, brand identities, whatever... At half the price.

For up to a year.

I got a hard "No" with attitude😀..

I didn't think they understood what they were missing.

In fact, I will be utterly amazed if the avalanche doesn't start before the end of 2030. It is a diminishing returns, and humans will ride the wave to its peak. What happens after then?

All along, humans want somebody else who would do their work. Somebody who will do it faster, smarter, and more efficiently. A plus if they can lift heavier loads, plan everything for them, and satisfy their every want and need. By them, I mean us, in case you are wondering.

AI is just in its infancy, and I can tell you, the optics aren't great. Humans can't be trusted with this thing. It is the fruit from the forbidden tree. I don't trust it not to snowball into something we can't control.

You won't even have to show up for a meeting online, there will be realistic AI avatars for that, who know your mannerisms and can act as you. They will be our proxy. We have barely begun, and already the impact and the promise is in the air.

We are barely into our 3rd year of using AI globally, and companies are already jettisoning humans for robots. Talks of robots in the office, in the warehouse, in the kitchen, in the bedroom. AI and robots doing everything for you, including speaking and writing.

Same equation that could have been used for powering the whole world. Same humans who kill and maim regenerating animals so as to see how they work, in the hopes of reproducing the same in humans. Same humans with curiosity greater than a cat's.

Or at least, we assume every one building and training AI is putting these restrictions and safety in place. That is, we can trust another human being not to use, train and encourage AI to do bad and evil things.

Humans who used E=mC² to build and launch the atomic bomb.
