The last few weeks have been extremely busy, as we put the finishing touches on Link v2, app updates, new documentation and a major outbound sales campaign we are launching shortly. This next week will be huge for us as we kick off the campaign for the new self service ShareRing Link platform, as well as a number of other juicy things.

As we reach the end of 2025, I wanted to reflect on what a crazy year it's been. The executive team did a great job of outlining our progress at @ShareRingGlobal in the blog post below, so I'll avoid repeating anything. From a ShareRing perspective, I'd give this year a 7/10. The last 3 months have been close to a 9/10, as we start to convert our opportunities into more real world use at the start of 2026.

On a personal front, there's been some extreme highs - my amazing partner (my anchor, my sails, and my North star) and I welcomed twin boys into the world earlier this year, we moved house, and I got engaged, and there have been extreme lows - I lost my father, my aunty, one of my cousins, and my cat who has been part of the family for 13 years. My friends, family, and work colleagues have been an incredible support through these ups and downs, and I feel deeply grateful to have them in my corner.

I also want to thank our community for sticking with throughout all these years. We've could have done some things better in the past, but we've always been building and growing, and sticking to our core principle of privacy by design. Unlike a lot of crypto projects, ShareRing are focusing on a long term strategy to put our self sovereign, portable identity in the hands of millions of users around the world, and we are now seeing that strategy come to fruition.

2026 will be a big year for us, and I'm looking forward to sharing that journey with you all.

Great turnout last night. Our age assurance presentation went well. We highlighted our focus on privacy by design, how the users should own their data, our seamless onboarding process, and some new products, including our seamless verification (self sovereign identity without the need for an app!), and our new Shopify plugin for age verification and credit card fraud mitigation.
