Cecilia Abena Dapaah, former Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources at appointment committee in 2020 explaining how her ministry spent $43M out of the $200M world Bank economic pump to dredge odaw river in Accra.

Ghana and the World Bank on Friday 17th, January 2020 signed four agreements, totalling nearly $570 million aimed to transform the economy, boost education, improve sanitation and fight flooding in Accra as well as reduce forest losses.
Out of the total commitment for the four projects, $557 million is in loans and just over $12 million in grants.
