It's disappointing that Google Cloud requires payment for "tech support." This includes both a monthly fee and 3% of your monthly charges. It seems quite unreasonable.

At my day job - Obtaining approval to use Zoom for video calls is a frustrating process. We simply want to provide users an alternative, to options like Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, but the approval process is overly complicated.

Zoom seems to be going from bad to worse.

Asia seems to have fewer successful SaaS startups compared to the US or rest of the world.

Yet we have access to more affordable tech and marketing resources - an intriguing position.

@marta_vs_art The biggest is still HubSpot in my opinion. But there seem to be a little new SAAS startups upcoming.

Worse, in my day job - Asia VCs not keen in investing in SAAS startups.

From my perspective, this strategy could potentially bind customers to long-term commitments, thus raising the risk of churn without prior notice.
