@vizience@Razhazevil5@ageofthefever But the guys at the top *arent* at the top. Cena isn’t even in the top 15%, I doubt any of the performers are.
They’d unionize to demand money away from WWE profit margins and into paying them adequately.
@DrellLabs@lucysux@softlxnar Sure, but very different vibe if it’s “go work in the [office/warehouse/site/oil rig] and be away from your family for [8 hours/12 hours/3 days/4 months]”, ya know? Like, the far travel one is gonna be tougher.
@StAdkison@TeddysGrandson1@GeneralGrantW You misunderstand social media; this is a public forum. Just as you responded to someone who you disagree with, others can do the same.
@thefurlinator@purdyrebelkinch@hdiashid@PunishedGramsci Then in a perfect world you’d call my aforementioned support team, but given they don’t exist yet then you’d call the train attendant/a person who works there, or if there are non qualified around you get a cop. “Qualified” includes like, basic safety stuff too.
@thefurlinator@purdyrebelkinch@hdiashid@PunishedGramsci Alright, I can see you’re not actually reading my tweets; lemme explain again.
If it is safe to do so, you should tell them to stop *before* you call the cops on a non-violent offender. If they are holding a knife or on meth or w/e, then obviously it’s not safe.
@thefurlinator@purdyrebelkinch@hdiashid@PunishedGramsci READ THIS FIRST: Ah shit, sorry I mistyped that last part.
I meant that if they are smoking, you should talk to them LONG before you ever think of calling the cops.
Very sorry, that last paragraph came off with the exact opposite energy as what I was saying.
@thefurlinator@purdyrebelkinch@hdiashid@PunishedGramsci …retainer by the train station or local government.
My point is that if you do not communicate with people before calling the cops on them, you’re fucked. It’s one thing if they’re like, pulling a knife on u, but even then the cops are simply going to assault or kill them.
@thefurlinator@purdyrebelkinch@hdiashid@PunishedGramsci I very explicitly said not to jump to calling the cops: you ask them first, stating what they need to stop and why. If they say no, then in a perfect world you’d be able to call some sort of non-violent peacekeeping employee, perhaps a team of social workers kept on… (1/2)
@thefurlinator@purdyrebelkinch@hdiashid@PunishedGramsci > ideally from self awareness but realistically from someone saying “hey stop spraying orange juice on me.” Then if they don’t, and they assault you like you’re describing, then you’d call the cops.
You should say “hey don’t smoke” before siccing armed cops on them.
@purdyrebelkinch@hdiashid@PunishedGramsci They should stop, ideally from self awareness but realistically from someone saying “hey stop spraying orange juice on me.” Then if they don’t, and they assault you like you’re describing, then you’d call the cops.
@geohn342990@angryaboutbikes@n10siveporpoise Your problem is you’re looking at it and saying “that’s irrational, why don’t you just do it right?” And there’s no answer I can give, because disabilities are inherently different to the majority. In the same way a depressed person can’t just be happy, it just doesn’t work.
@AgentAgentCoder@pair0sock@angryaboutbikes Raising children as an adult with ADHD is incredibly difficult, yes, and a lot of us have made peace with that one way or another.
@h3ll0again@quachelsey As a kid, my grandma or grandpa would pick me up from school twice a week and it was a really great way to get quality time. 100% on offering to take over chores for them, especially if there’s childcare stuff! You get to take care of and hang with your grandkid.
