I have a question for players outside of Japan.
It's about the KovaaK's tournament I'm hosting, called "SenRe."
If you could participate, would you want to? Also, I want to hear lots of opinions, so it would really help if you could spread the word about this tweet.
Tournament rules and their meanings below:
Held in real-time
- Tournaments where you can participate anytime have a high barrier to entry, as few people can maintain the motivation to play when they see overwhelming players on the leaderboard.
Scenarios kept hidden until the round starts
- If top-tier players grind them in advance, lower-tier players won't have a chance.
Choose from organizer-specified sensitivities (e.g., 20cm, 30cm, 60cm, 90cm, 110cm, etc.)
- Before scenarios are revealed, participants must declare to the organizers which sensitivity they will use for each round. Once used, a sensitivity cannot be used again, and changing sensitivity during a round is not allowed.
- This adds a certain level of randomness to the tournament—like weapon RNG in battle royale games—and tests mouse control skills to see how well players can adapt to sudden changes. Additionally, if luck aligns with a player's favorable scenario, upsets become possible.
Time-attack element + settings that hide scenarios from the leaderboard
- Overall rankings fluctuate based on the score submission time and the score itself.
- Generally, players who achieve high scores quickly have the advantage, but since you cannot check the overall situation on the leaderboard, it is hard to tell where you stand, making it important to understand your own potential.
I am using a translator so there might be some awkward phrasing, but if you have any questions, please reply.
