Four weeks on this new painting titled "Strawberry, Sweet, Strawberry", depicting various strawberry foods, drinks and desserts in some kind of diner, done in the style reminiscent of Cinecolor/Two-Strip Technicolor (emphasis on green and red hues and tints).

@flurryfrenzy When compared to Ed Edd n Eddy, it at least works because much of the bad luck the Eds receive is a result of their own failings and they show us reasons why the characters act they way do, where as in CatDog, there isn't any of that, outside of them being "freaks".

@KennyLauderdal3 Growing up in the 2000s, without Boomerang, was reruns of Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes, alongside the then-new CN originals and whatnot, then DVDs of old Hanna-Barbera and Popeyes. Always important to be exposed to both the old, as well as the new!

It is titled "A Light Only Beams At Night"

Inspired by my first ever watch of Titanic, and my admiration of the film's directing and atmosphere.

@wiley207 @DexLabfan @thatdaffyduck Same here! I was lucky to at least grow up on the original Looney Tunes during that time, one way or another (DVDs and early YouTube).

I'll never forget how excited my 10 year old self was when Looney Tunes finally returned to CN on New Year's 2009 😊 😃 😀

@HannaBarberaCap Never heard of any hatred towards Scooby-Doo. What comes closest is the criticism of the series being "formulaic" and "repetitive." That's about it, honestly.
