@gardn125kokoro Opinions are valid but the "doesn't leave Wanderer alone" part feels off in your description. Sethos isn't just constantly bothering him. They're friends. Nahida acts similar. Wanderer acts like he does with everyone but we know he values attention from those he considers friends
@Capi_bara01@cakepoops2 Albedo did with the KoF. That was the whole point of the second trial. To make Durin / Subject Two lose control so that he would become aggressive and attack Mondstadt
@Capi_bara01@cakepoops2 No one is denying he did harm to infiltrate Mondstadt, but attacking Mondstadt resulted from him being provoked into losing control. Again, Durin was a suffering child - Albedo and the KoF used Mondstadt as bait to eliminate him
@Capi_bara01@cakepoops2 He was cornered and provoked into attack, we don't know his real intentions/plan bc we never heard his side of the story. Preservation could have been a possible motive, considering the potential danger Albedo presents (to him and Mond)
@Capi_bara01@cakepoops2 Durin was corrupted by the Abyss, but that's not the point - Scaramouche wasn't. The point is that he was a child whom no one tried to help beyond Albedo's plot to eliminate him. We don't even know his side of the story bc it was only ever filtered through Albedo.
@Capi_bara01@cakepoops2 Ofc Durin did evil things by choice, but he was also a child led to do so. Scaramouche and Dvalin both did evil things bc they suffered also. It's worth noting that mimicry is a core of the character. They never showed aggression until learning and provoked by Albedo
@Reina85133684@DailySusbedo Up to interpretation. I suspect Albedo's views are more fluid and complex than you make them. He is not the most reliable narrator
@Capi_bara01@cakepoops2 In Paralogism, Durin's actions were the result of Albedo and the KoF's manipulations. They led him into a trap so that they could destroy him. You could argue he's evil, but history repeated because he was a suffering child led to be the "evil dragon" for an alchemy project
Dorian / Subject 2's character is so so tragic. He got the worst ending imaginable. He was fed to Durin because he was 'imperfect', managed to escape from it's stomach, died by his brother's hand and in death was dragged back to Durin's stomach
@DailySusbedo@cry_oculus Never will I trust Genshin hand-feeding us a dubious story about an evil monster in a one-sided narrative. Especially not when it involves Durin, who met his fate for that exact reason
I think if the writers are presenting a story where Dragons are evil and Humans are good, and titling it “Logical Fallacy,” we really should not be accusing those writers of trying to convince everyone that Dragons are evil and Humans are good…
“Yellow is simply bait.”
