You have to have the character to do that at 16 in such a crucial match. Arguably even the best-taken penalty, especially with the distraction before it.

I missed both goals Borac conceded so no idea if he was at fault, but Jurkas (18) was absolutely massive in the penalty shootout.

U15 NT is usually not really a big deal, especially in BiH given the lack of proper scouting, all the corruption, and the diaspora mostly coming in from U17 onwards.

But with this 2009 generation, it’s remarkable that there are already three players who have been involved in professional football before turning 18: Matej Deket, Aldian Korora and Savo Radanović.

The latter is technically still eligible, but has switched to Serbia. The other two are already starting to make their mark in the Bosnian league.
