this piece by @elyseinamine about the experiences of Korean adoptee chefs was really beautifully done and happy to see that it features Tiny Chef in STL. I still dream sometimes about the doenjang jjigae I once ordered from her

This smart, delicious story by @elyseinamine landed on the front page, along with recipes. Getting 3 recipes published with a front-page story is unprecedented in the history of the @nytimes. Says a lot about how we've changed. https://t.co/uxBEgGRXsr
As an #adoptee + adoptive parent, I really can't explain how wonderful it is to see the @NYTimes writing about #adoption and the schism of its #foodways. Representation does matter (+I'm not even Korean) TY @elyseinamine

@KimFosterNYC @nytimes thank you for reading and sharing! also sorry i'm terrible with twitter and don't check it often (my mom told me that i needed to because good convos were coming from my piece!). so thank you :)
I am not very active here, but I saw this and need to say something: I feel upset, disgusted, and gutted. So much of the work my colleagues and I have done to make @bonappetitmag actually inclusive is undone by this. I understand I am accountable; this our EIC.
