Distributed about 760 COVID test kits within an hour and a half while standing in the freezing rain yesterday and I’d say that maybe 15 people said “thank you.” I’m so tired.

@oureric Yesterday we distributed 720 rapid test kits in less than 2 hours. Maybe 10 people thanked us. It was exhausting in every way.

As a librarian, it drives me crazy when a child comes in looking for specific leveled books. They’ll say they can’t read something if not between lexile xx-xx. We need to end that. It’s killing their love of reading. Let them read what they want.

I did it and I highly recommend it, even just for yourself. But if someone’s not taking the photos for you, make sure you have a remote for your phone/camera because racing against that timer is tough.
