@CamJBradbury Solid rational. I think I would have ranked Cameron slightly higher than Sunak just on the basis Cameron started the 14 year period. But ur reasoning is so sound
@ListerLawrence There’s something so early 2000’s about them. But still fits in well. It’s not like a 360 or 911 of that era that just looks out of time
The way that the government thinks that attaching “passive income” somehow won’t annoy most people is crazy! 2k of contributions is around £40k a year of salary. That’s not a wealthy person.
🚨 NEW: Rachel Reeves will use the Budget to impose a £2k-a-year limit on how much salary can go into a pension before paying National Insurance
The move will raise £2bn and hit salary sacrifice schemes

@sniffpetrol@adrianfclarke To be fair don’t we still pine for the sweet sweet 60s. The example being the Jaguar backlash and people calling for a new E Type. Seems to always be love for the 60s over any other decade
@przemekg18 I bet the numbers would work out it would save taxpayers money if parents who sent there children to private schools were given tax relief on the school payments. Same with those who use private health care
@jasperlewis_ It’s something that I’m supprised I had a negative reaction to (though be clear not having a gammon esq breakdown). I think it’s the idea that is a forced ID. That there isn’t an option. It’s not like a license were ultimately it’s a choice. And something about that not bonita
@mouldyscone@PolitlcsUK Prime “well I can see in the major city I live in there’s buses, trains and all sorts to get home” and not in regional cities were buses stop at 9pm and it’s asking mates for lifts
