@kjacksonatwlu What do you think the long-run implications for poverty in Canada of unqualified CERB payments? Or the pandemic in general affecting poverty levels.
End Racism.
One cause. One commitment.
As individuals, we choose our own way to support the cause. As a group of drivers and a wider F1 family, we are united in its goal.
#WeRaceAsOne
@Em203Adam in addition to the problems you highlighted in your mind map surrounding poverty, climate change is one of the main causes of global poverty. This creates a chain reaction as climate change has the potential to create hunger through drought or flooding. #EM203problems
@em203nbarron HI Nichola! I agree, with the introduction of social media it can be interesting how learning has shifted and the different learning styles that people prefer. Media is a great point to bring up, as it can definitely have an effect on us as students and individuals.
@nathan_reesor Me as well Nathan, I had to relearn how to do Sudoku puzzles, and trying to do a hard one took a lot more time than I expected. I'm enjoying the tasks that this course provides so far and how it provides insight to my own learning.
@EM203marissabi1 Great post! I think it is quite interesting how differently people learn, some might be comfortable with multi-tasking and others may not. I like this course because it provides a lot of unique ways to learn about your own learning as well.
@PallottaSophia I agree! There are a lot of positive and negative consequences that using technology can have on the ability to learn. I wonder to what effect will online learning during the pandemic might have on the future of university students going through this right now.
@gilmour_shawn Hi Shawn, you are exactly right, in these unprecedented times, it can be a great way to learn how to learn more digitally. Even professors are learning how to teach better through different mediums using technology. Great post!
In the first few lessons of #EM203Robin I have learned about different learning theories (behaviourism) and insight into why multi-tasking can be detrimental to my own learning. This course has already opened my eyes to different learning styles and learning in a "digital age."
