The problem I have identified is the issue of climate change. Specifically, I will be researching textile waste and how it affects the world. Textile waste and fast fashion is the second-largest polluter in the world.
Textile waste is one of the top contributors to pollution. North Americans send 9.5 tonnes of clothing to landfills each year. This could be prevented with recycling. https://t.co/90cQYHS6ca #EM203#EM203problem
In Canada, we are lucky to have access to clean drinking water. Therefore, it is difficult to believe that 1 in 3 people around the world do not have the same resources. #EM203
Access to water, sanitation and hygiene is a human right but today 1 in 3 people around the world lack safe drinking water, and many more lack safe sanitation.
In November, we're highlighting Goal 6 of the #GlobalGoals: Clean Water & Sanitation.

The November issue of National Geographic is the first ever with all female contributors. Each day we'll introduce you to one of them, and share how they would describe their greatest strength. #NatGeoWomenofImpact https://t.co/XJ4arPG4CW
@Em203Ved Hi Ved, I totally agree the activities that have been provided in this course have been extremely engaging and interesting. My favourite has definitely been learning a new task.
@ShayleneLangil1 Hi Shaylene, I completely agree that it has been interesting learning about the digital world and how it relates to our everyday lives!
@em203edenblack Hi Eden, since I did not get to explore Connectivism, it is so interesting to learn from you what it is about. It is so interesting to see that there are an abundance of learning styles that are used in the classroom, to appeal to a wide range of students.
@em203karliealt Through this course, I have also expanded my knowledge on Learning by Doing! We use learning by doing in classrooms settings all the time through case studies and labs. Thank you for sharing!
@Em203Meagan Hi Meagan! Thank you for sharing. I relate to the idea that technology plays a large role in education. In classrooms, we all use laptops as a note-taking device instead of paper and pen. For so many people, including myself, it is so helpful and efficient.
The past 3 weeks has been an extremely educational experience. I have enjoyed learning about Learning by Doing. The main goal of this learning style is to have students learn in an unstructured way as they get to have hands on experiences. Can't wait to keep learning! #EM203Robin
