Online scams vary in the level of detail and dedication that is put towards fooling you. Common ways to detect if something is a scam is not using the platform they are claiming to messaging you from (i.e Rogers alert when you are using Bell), spelling mistakes, picture, etc...

RIP Matthew Perry. Friends is a comfort show for me and always will be due to the dynamic of the 6 friends, especially the comical relationship between Joey and Chandler. It's so sad to see such a good man go so young.
@EM203juliaw I think it's really important to understand the caution we must take when using social media networks as learning tools as they can easily be promoting "fake news" or unreliable information. However, if used properly it can really benefit all students!
@AlexisDimi21153 I was very surprised about the negativity surrounding technological growth as I feel it is only serving our community positively. I think it really allows us to discover and take advantage of opportunities we may not have had the privilege of discovering prior to this technology!
@EM203Adibiase It is fascinating how much learning/teaching techniques have been affected by this digital age. I personally think that multi-modal approaches will be very beneficial once everyone really gets the hang of them and learns how to take advantage!
@EM203aasthapunj I also learnt how to play Sudoku as my challenge in Week 3. I agree it was quite refreshing as a little challenge to the mind. Learning by doing through a trial and error process is always my approach to learning if possible. I'm glad there are more people like that!
I have just studied various ways people learn and there is a way broader variety than I could have imagined! It was obvious to me that everyone learns in a different way but never understood how they were categorized. More importantly, how they all come together! #EM203Robin
