Hi Jenny, I think an interesting concept you could discuss from your concept map would be how mental health affects daily life, such as school or work @EM203JennyBui #em203problems
I think an interesting topic from your concept map would be how substance abuse affects those that live in poor neighborhoods or developing countries @em203bleung#em203problems
@EM203FrancesM That's great that you've been able to make connections from this course to other forms of learning. I can certainly see the benefit of the concepts learned in this course, and how they can be applied to other majors.
@EM203teresa Hey Teresa! Thats super interesting that you learned how to knit through this course, you'll definitely have to teach me sometime. I also agree with how relevant this course is to our everyday lives, as learning in the 21st century is something that we are currently going through
@EM203CCOTE @EM203Sonia Hey Christina! Great question about negative effects of technology use. I can definitely see how humans could become too reliant on technology, but I also believe that our society will advance in a way that promotes technology use, therefore losing the stigma of too much tech use
@EM203teresa@EM203kayra Great point about creating new opportunities. I think students today will have access to a wealth of knowledge that generations before us had no idea about. This is especially true with how different learning has been for most during the Covid-19 pandemic.
@EM203Khai @EM203NVaz Hey Khai! I definitely agree with how accessible information is these days with how much technology students possess. With resources like Khan academy, it will be exciting to see how far new students today can take their learning!
So far, I have been extremely happy to learn new things everyday in EM203. In our first three classes, we have learned about learning in a digital era, constructivism, and the three M's. Going forward, I am excited to touch on more interesting concepts and theories! #EM203Robin
