This map shows the rural and remote areas in Ontario that have low Internet accessibility, which can limit certain students' access to online learning resources.
@EM203Marain I agree! I like how you highlighted that technology can support learning only if it's used with purpose, which is something I think many people forget while using it.
@EM203Julieann I like how you emphasized the effects of technology on our overall learning! I definitely agree and think its interesting how even after just getting introduced to this concept, many of us are already becoming more aware of how we interact with media.
@EM203SamCave I agree! I think that learning those small things, like how multitasking actually impacts our learning negatively, is really beneficial in helping us reflect on how we take in information and learn.
@ebrandem203 I like how you highlighted the 3 Ms! I definitely think that they show how our learning is affected in different ways. That is something really useful to keep in mind, especially while doing an online class.
@EM203sarahball I agree! Being able to apply different strategies to how we all individually learn is definitely something valuable. It not only helps us learn better now but also allows us to apply those skills in the future in many different ways.
So far in EM203, I have been introduced me to both the positive and negative impact of internet usage. One of the key things I have taken away is what can help students learn more effectively, such as taking a more collaborative approach to active learning. #EM203Robin
