In spirit of diversity and inclusion, this is the quote that stood out to me recently:
“Share our similarities, celebrate our differences.”
- M. Scott Peck
@LawLovesEm203 Thank you, @LawLovesEm203!! I appreciate you chatting with me, and this means a lot coming from a kinesiology graduate and expert in the subject such as yourself!
Hey Twitter! I made this slide deck to illustrate the fitness crisis that our generation is facing, and came up with some solutions as to how we can be better. Let me know what you think! https://t.co/GWV4fi4SH5
One of the most common solutions to income inequality is a more effective taxation system, which doesn't favour the wealthy. Instead, a system that wouldn't keep increasing wealth for the wealthy, but make the "pie" larger for others. I thought this picture depicted it well!
To get fit, your goals should be at the top of your mind - but not only that. You need to take time to research your body, find out what you should be eating, and how you should be working out. Thus, this is a picture of someone taking the time to do his research, and focus.
Really happy for Corey Brewer. Been out of the league for a couple years, but he was always a solid rotation piece, and should be able to play some minutes off the bench if a few Kings players decide that they don’t want to make the trip to Orlando. #EM203Robin#EM203Research
Free agent Corey Brewer plans to sign a deal with the Sacramento Kings during NBA’s transaction window, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA@Stadium. Brewer chose the Kings over multiple potential offers.
@em203nvarma Neeraj, I loved your mind map! An #EM203Problems that I found was we currently live in a time-poor society and this has a huge impact on not being able to find or prioritize the time to workout and become super fit! If you have any workout tips, please share! :)
@EM203Jody I loved your concept map! I agree that saving our environment is a pressing issue, and we need all hands on deck! One #EM203Problems I noticed - which you accounted for - is that whatever eco friendly alternative we develop must be affordable for mass consumption.
@EM203ananji I loved your concept map, and I agree that income inequality is an issue that needs to be addressed. One problem I see is that in order to achieve income equality, we need to pay based on merit, to do so fairly, provide equal opportunity for all #EM203Problems
@EM203lalvares I found your map very interesting, and I love how it accounts for all aspects of a student’s life. I agree on the issue, but by virtue of being in rigorous programs to earn prestigious degrees, there’s inevitably going to be a toll on our health #EM203Problems
@EM203_KSnyder I loved your concept map! I thought that some of the effects you pointed out were very accurate, and heartbreaking. One problem that I see is that in order to slow global warming, we need widely accessible, and affordable alternative to fossil fuels #EM203Problems
@EM203dchan Hi Devin, thanks for sharing. I have to agree with you on the point that learning about how information can be presented using different forms of media was really interesting!
@EM203Jody Hi Jody, thanks so much for sharing! I agree that the concept of learning about learning was very interesting, especially when conscious of the fact that you’re learning about learning, thus learning how you’re learning about learning.
