Hello, @LaurierWellness as part of my #EM203 course I am required to reach out to a platform to discuss potential solutions to better one's mental health. Are there any online or on-campus resources that students can utilize if they are feeling anxious or depressed? Thanks!

#EM203Problem A problem that I believe holds great significance is the effect that social media has on the mental health of the youth. Being the first generation to grow up with social media, I am curious as to the detriment different platforms have had on our mental states.

In my first couple lessons of #EM203Robin, I learned that Constructivism is an effective learning theory that implies that an individuals learning is dictated by their own experiences. In recent years, it has been considered as a viable alternative to traditional learning styles.
@EM203JMerk Hi Jack, I tweeted a very similar thing in my initial post; I think it was great learning the various learning styles and see how we can relate to them on a daily basis. Really makes you wonder what learning practices we undergo without even knowing!
@EM203Bscodeller Hey Brad, I also found it interesting learning about constructivism. I found it interesting thinking about the learning environments that have helped me practice constructivist learning styles. Looking forward to reading your future posts!
@EM203CurtisH Hey Curtis, totally agree with you on your stance on the course. I am really looking forward to engaging with you and our classmates further while navigating the various mediums the curriculum provides!
@vincentsmallwo4 Hi Vincent, I agree with your point of how your perspective of learning has greatly expanded. The importance of hands-on learning remains important in our daily activities inside and outside of the classroom.
@EM203amiscione Hi Alliasen, I think the importance of technology in our learning is something that we often overlook in our daily lives. I am excited for the further deepening of our knowledge on that topic!
Over the course of the first few classes of #EM203Robin my perspective of the way we learn has greatly expanded. I have learned about different learning theories and more specifically constructivism; a form of learning where new ideas are compared to ones pre-existing experience.
