Today in CentralNL. It never ceases to amaze me when I see patients who have been failed over and over by the system, yet they still thank me profusely for helping them access basic services. It’s sad they have learned to expect so little from the health care system.

Today in CentralNL. This feels like the perfect storm. Rural communities stripped bare of physicians and the price of gas too oppressively high to afford the travel to a larger centre. I have had patients in the health hub tell me they can’t afford the travel to see me in person.
