[Solus @SolusProject]

It is time for #Solus to embark on a new voyage. The journey ahead is incredibly exciting for users and contributors alike - the very foundations of our project, the ideas that held us together over the years, are finally coming to fruition.

Police are warning about school shooting hoax calls across New York state. Brighton and Brockport were among the local districts targeted by the swatting calls this morning.

Help us find 4-year old Michael Williams III and his mother, Jessica Sanchez-Reyes, who appear to have been abducted from Fulton Avenue. Anyone with information, please call 911.

In case anyone is worried: we are still very much alive! The main site is up and I have updated it with all of the work I had been doing to bring it up to date. This includes a brand new style for the Team page to accommodate our growing ranks. /1

[Solus @SolusProject]

Quick update. Finally managed to get to the colo earlier today and made decent progress getting the new machines provisioned and updated. I still have one server left that's fighting a bit, but I'll shift my focus to that after I've finished getting our main services up. /1

[Solus @SolusProject]

First, I want to apologize to everyone waiting for an update on the ongoing outtage. I became very ill on January 25th. My time since has been spent fighting an unknown illness which hit me harder than any I can remember, including COVID. /1

Hardware upgrades took a little bit longer than I'd like, but will be well worth it. Tomorrow is going to be a day of firmware and software and we should be getting back on track. - Beatrice

[Solus @SolusProject]

Quick update. We had some issues with Grub on the VM host over the weekend and I went to the datacenter to resolve it yesterday, but I need to go back today to finish up. Taking this opportunity to make a few hardware upgrades as well. - Beatrice

[Solus @SolusProject]

As many have noticed, the Solus servers are down. I have confirmed that the data is intact. This appears to be a libvirt dnsmasq issue. I will be consulting with IT folks at work this afternoon to see if we can't figure this one out. Thank you for your patience. - Beatrice

[Ontario County Fire Calls @OntCoFireCalls]

The Ontario County fire dispatcher has been dispatching non stop calls for the last 15-20 minutes. Kudos to him and to all the dispatchers and first responders working throughout this storm.

[Ontario County Fire Calls @OntCoFireCalls]

There are multiple weather related incidents occurring all over the county. If you have to drive today, please be careful and watch for emergency crews or for other incidents that may have not been called in yet. #roc #flx

[Ontario County Fire Calls @OntCoFireCalls]

Roads are extremely slick all across the finger lakes region. There are also multiple accidents all over the county, especially on the Thruway. Please drive slowly and carefully. Also be alert and watch for emergency crews or other accidents on your drive.

Started working on a dice tray for #dnd. Making it out of some leftover pine, with a piece of wood flooring for the bottom. #diy #woodworking https://t.co/v3sMclNEfX

@JoelDeTeves @fedora @BuddiesOfBudgie What theme settings are you using? This looks great!

[Evan Maddock @emaddock93]

Been working on more notification stuff for @BuddiesOfBudgie. If you receive notifications while an application is fullscreened, #Budgie will tell you about it when it is no longer fullscreen.

Don't know yet when this will land, but lots of exciting stuff on the horizon!
