@PetesMurithi@Bygones_24 No one is worried. Nairobi has a night time population of about 5m and it's still growing by day. AHP in Nairobi are less than 10k complete and another about 50k in development. Those can't replace demand of private developers anytime soon.
During Uhuru's tenure, matatus indeed went on strike 4 times.

We don't suffer from selective amnesia like this rogue regime.
@onjolo_kenya@SakajaJohnson@HonMosiria look at the state of workmanship in the cabro paving. Most of the efforts to improve walkways is undermined by poor workmanship. Take a proper tour of the works from moi Avenue headed to downtown and see for yourselves.
Thereβs an even bigger lie many Kenyans were fed and believed: that Unga under Uhuru was always more expensive. That Uhuru was the worst.
But lies survive when people stop checking backwards. Look at this:
2019: Unga 2kg was around KSh 96.
2020: Unga 2kg was around KSh 89.
April 2021: Unga 2kg was around KSh 89.
Then the late-2021 into 2022 drought and locust period hit, and prices later shot above KSh 180 in some places.
Of course these were mainly supermarket prices. In many local shops prices were slightly higher.
And even then, the Uhuru government tried to cushion Kenyans through subsidies, though many still felt the pain.
While campaigning, Ruto repeatedly criticized the government over the rising cost of unga and living expenses.
After becoming President, the message changed. Kenyans were told to wait for the rains and prices would come down.
The rains came. Prices later dropped to around KSh 120.
Today, supermarket offers can still be around KSh 139, and in many local shops prices are above 150ksh. I have attached evidence below.
Now remove party colors and answer one simple question:
Who had the lower unga prices? Ruto isn't facing a drought crisis, or locusts , the rains were good. This is the same period at 2020 when unga cheap.
Donβt fight me. Fight the timeline. Evidence below
@OdhisSr Do a small research and find out what it costs to advertise on his show. For context, most radio stations make money on morning and drive shows only because they have high ratings and people tuned in. Check out KAF reports for information.
@malobations@Mwende_Mugambi Cancer appointments can really break even the strongest. Been on that journey with my aunt and uncle. End stage is heartbreaking.
@Nick_tradesKe1 In our traditions, uncles are very important regardless of their station in life. The moments you spent with him am sure were his best days and he whispered a blessing on his way home. May he rest in peace.
