JUST IN: 🇧🇷 Brazil's Congress has officially proposed a bill to ensure players can keep playing their games even if official support ends.
They also called for an investigation into Sony's move to stop releasing physical discs for PlayStation consoles.
Reports claim Sony believes it doesn’t need to stay in close contact with PlayStation fans because it trusts the strength of the PlayStation brand and the loyalty of its community.
According to the reports, Sony expects players to keep buying its games as the company moves toward a digital-only future.
They also believe the backlash over ending physical PlayStation game production will eventually stop and most players will eventually adapt to buying games digitally.
Here’s what “Digital-Only Gaming” means🚀
✅If your account is hacked/lost/suspended, you lose the games you paid for
✅If the PSN (or any service network) is down, you can’t access games you paid for
✅If you change your region, by their terms, you need to create a new account because they have no account region change or transfer, so you lose the games you paid for
✅If you don’t use your account for 36 months, you lose the games you paid for because Sony, by their terms, will take steps to close your account
✅If you aren’t connected to the internet, you cannot access the games you paid for
✅If a digital license expires or any falling out occurs between the digital storefront and the game’s studio/publisher, you will lose access to games you paid for (like they removed 500 movie purchases without compensation just 2 weeks ago)
So if you consider this “the future” and “the evolution” cool, enjoy! Not everyone likes to be c**ked by corporations and scammed for their money, over things they bought and paid for.
A video game you bought that can be taken away anytime, is no different nor less serious than a refrigerator, a piece of clothing, a car or a hairdryer that you bought, and somehow the manufacturer can switch off from their end without compensation.
FIGHT FOR PHYSICAL GAMES🕹️
NO DISC. NO BUY💿
PlayStation updated its Terms of Service in April 2026, and Section 21 outlines how inactive PSN accounts may be closed.
> If a PSN account remains inactive for 36 months, Sony may begin the account closure process. The account holder will receive an email notification and has 6 months to sign in or request that the account remain active.
> If no action is taken and the account is closed, access to PlayStation Network services will end.
>Any digital purchases tied to that account, including games, DLC, and other digital content, will no longer be accessible.
According to the Terms of Service, this process is irreversible.
Heads up. Sony/PlayStation are taking down any posts on Reddit which prove that they're lying about the physical vs digital sales comparisons and skewing the numbers 👌
After sitting with the Playstation news for a bit, I came to realize something…
Isn’t what Sony is doing kinda illegal?
They’re essentially creating a monopoly by gutting any market except the ps store.
No competition. No competitive prices. Nothing.
Seems illegal to me.
RUMOR | XBOX cancelled an ad campaign in 2025 highlighting the advantages of physical vs digital games
In early 2025, we came across an Xbox advertisement highlighting the advantages of both physical and digital formats for its video games. At the time, its release seemed imminent, just a few days after our discovery at most. However, no trace of this video has ever been found since, suggesting that the campaign was simply cancelled.
The 42-second video began with a simple question: "Physical vs digital games. Which is best for you?" Xbox then detailed the advantages of each format:
Physical version: keep your copy of the game, enjoy limited and collector's editions, and be able to lend or share the game with your friends.
Digital version: pre-install games for immediate access on launch day, easily switch between titles, and access exclusive digital editions.
The advertisement ended with an open question: "What will you choose?" This reflected a clear desire on the part of Xbox to let its players choose rather than deciding for them.

PlayStation manipuluje danymi!
Według ich raportów, 85% sprzedanych gier na PS to wersje cyfrowe. Tak, ale liczą tam dostępne tylko cyfrowo indyki, starsze produkcje czy nawet GRY Z PLAYSTATION+. To absurd.
Tymczasem wyciek wewnętrznych danych z Insomniac Games pokazał jasno(1/2)
You bought a smart TV on Amazon.
Wanted to watch Netflix.
The TV already had malware on it before it shipped.
That malware turns your home internet connection into a proxy exit node.
So cybercriminals can route their attacks through your address.
And your address gets blamed.
Two million home devices.
Smart TVs. Streaming boxes. Android TV.
All part of the NetNut botnet called Popa.
In one week in June Google caught 316 different hacker groups using those exit nodes.
Password sprays. Espionage ops. Ransomware reconnaissance.
Coming from your home IP.
While your internet bill was paying for the bandwidth.
NetNut is owned by a publicly traded Israeli company called Alarum Technologies.
On Nasdaq.
They sold this proxy access to resellers.
Who sold it to other resellers.
Who sold it to criminals.
The FBI just seized their domains.
Google disabled their accounts.
Alarum’s legal counsel said they will fully cooperate.
Your home network has been a crime scene for months.
And the only way to know is if someone raids a datacenter.
The TV still works.
Netflix is still loading.
The backdoor is still open.
