Seems to me most people have forgotten that there's a Saudi-based military alliance against terrorism, primarily comprised of Muslim countries including Turkey and Pakistan, that already exists. It's called the IMCTC.
It has zero achievements of any kind to show since its establishment in 2015. But then again, it is even more useless than the UN so I'm sure that's an achievement of some kind.
That particular military alliance was also initially referred to as Muslim NATO. It obviously failed to deter Saudi Arabia's adversaries like the Houthis and Iran. It has had zero impact on the terrorism situation in quite a few member states including Pakistan.
BTW, IMCTC is also backed by the U.S. and UK.
Perspective for those with short-term memory:
Iran ordered the Oct 7th attacks via Hamas to foil the Saudi-Israel normalisation, which was right on the horizon at the time.
The result?
Gaza is a parking lot. IDF is still hunting down all those involved in Oct 7th attacks one by one. There are still IDF strikes in Gaza every week.
Then Iran's primary and most powerful proxy, Hezbollah, decided to intervene for Hamas.
The result?
IDF is in large parts of southern Lebanon and has flattened entire villages that were previously Hezbollah strongholds and tunnel cities.
Iran then managed to hoodwink the Americans, via JD, Pakistan, Qatar and Turkey, to sign what basically amounted to a U.S. surrender agreement. And then Iran went ahead and blew it up anyway.
What's funny is that in that surrender document, Iran had actually managed to get the U.S. to accept that the Lebanon front is part of the Iran front. Not a single word on Gaza or Palestinians or Hamas though. None of that was as important for Iran as trying to save Hezbollah.
The Palestinians are nothing more than cannon fodder for the Iranian regime. Hamas was nothing more than cannon fodder for the Iranian regime. Yahya Sinwar screwed Gaza for the Iranians and then died like a coward while throwing a stick at an Israeli drone.
Notice how we're not seeing a single reference to Gaza or Palestinians from the Iranian regime and its fanatical supporters these days. It's because the war has come home for them.
Another funny thing is that Saudis knew why Iran ordered Oct 7th attacks and yet still decided not to join Abraham Accords. But at the end of the day, they still got bombed by Iran and its proxies. And there's probably more to come for them.
A lot of lessons to learn for everyone. The Israelis learned theirs after Oct 7th. Let's see when others will learn theirs.
🚨🗣 Egypt's Coach Hossam Hassan couldn't control himself after full-time:
"I will say what's on my mind regardless of the consequence, this was clearly a rigged match and the whole world saw it"
"And I want to say one more thing, if they want them [Argentina] to win so bad, why call everyone to come and participate?"
Pakistan's ally Saudi got badly beaten up by Iran as Pakistan hosts and showers flowers on the same Iranians.
Pakistan isn't a net security provider of anything. It is simply trying to squeeze some economic gains out of a rattled Saudi Arabia while at the same time doing everything it can to avoid having to honour the pact.
Muslim armies and militias brag that “they love death more than we love life”, but what this turns into in practice is the US (this mission) and Israel (the mission to find Ron Arad) sending forces deep into their territory to find ours, killing tons of theirs, and leaving with no friendly casualties.
In order to win wars you actually have to like living, surviving, and winning. If your entire objective is just to die a martyr, you will, and will accomplish nothing but forcing more civilized people than yourself to spend time killing you that they could spend reading instead.
Jaffer Express typically carries 400 passengers. Only a miracle just averted what would have been the bloodiest terror attack in Pakistani history.
This is who the Taliban are. These are the people whose narratives the media have chosen to support.
It’s going to be a hot day in Kabul.
French judicial authorities raided X’s Paris office today in connection with a politicized criminal investigation into alleged manipulation of algorithms and purported fraudulent data extraction. We are disappointed by this development, but we are not surprised. The Paris Public Prosecutor’s office widely publicized the raid—making clear that today’s action was an abusive act of law enforcement theater designed to achieve illegitimate political objectives rather than advance legitimate law enforcement goals rooted in the fair and impartial administration of justice.
The Paris Public Prosecutor's Office is plainly attempting to exert pressure on X’s senior management in the United States by targeting our French entity and employees, who are not the focus of this investigation. The Prosecutor’s Office has ignored the established procedural mechanisms to obtain evidence in compliance with international treaties and X’s rights to defend itself. These procedural mechanisms are well known and used on a daily basis by judicial authorities around the world.
The allegations underlying today’s raid are baseless and X categorically denies any wrongdoing. Today’s staged raid reinforces our conviction that this investigation distorts French law, circumvents due process, and endangers free speech. X is committed to defending its fundamental rights and the rights of its users. We will not be intimidated by the actions of French judicial authorities today.

A mí me vuelve loco esquiar.
• Me quedan 30 veces.
No te quedan años.

Quick lesson on breakup fees:
If regulators block the Netflix/WBD deal, Netflix pays $5.8b to WBD.
If Paramount tops a Netflix bid and WBD goes with Paramount instead, WBD pays Netflix $2.8b.
