Standing against radical movements such as the Muslim Brotherhood while choosing the path of peace with Israel was not a small or easy decision.

For me, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed deserves immense appreciation for choosing peace, coexistence, and regional cooperation.

His vision is of a Middle East that moves beyond endless conflict and builds genuine collaboration among Muslims, Jews, and Christians.

That vision can already be seen in the Abraham Accords and in the UAE’s continued commitment to coexistence, dialogue, and cooperation across the region.

God bless MBZ, a leader I deeply admire and consider a role model and may God protect him from extremists and all those who choose hatred and bloodshed over peace.

Yes, I’m a proud “traitor.”

I betrayed radical Islamist ideology because I saw the darkness within it: hatred, hostility toward non Muslims, and the constant creation of enemies.

And I will never be bullied or silenced by radical Muslim Brotherhood preachers who weaponize one of extremism’s most powerful tools: fear.

When they call me a “traitor,” I wear that label with pride.

I swallowed those ideas when I was young. Then I defeated them with knowledge, facts, and truth.

So what do I believe in today, as a Muslim?

I believe in humanity.

I refuse to hate Jews.

I refuse to hate Christians.

I refuse to hate people simply because they believe differently from me.

I love America and the West, and I reject the worldview of extremists who teach their followers to see entire nations and peoples as enemies.

But even in fighting this ideology, I fight it with a good heart.

I do not hate its followers.

I stand firmly against their ideology while hoping that those trapped within it can free themselves from hatred and become better versions of themselves just as knowledge helped me change.

This is not about vengeance…this is transformation.

So yes, call me a “traitor.”

I’m a proud traitor to extremism, a proud advocate for peace, and I have zero regrets about standing against fanaticism.

May God bless everyone who has found the courage to overcome hateful teachings, reject extremism, and choose peace instead. 🙏🏼♥️

There should be no confusion about the UAE’s relationship with Israel.

It is public, sovereign and state-to-state. No hidden agenda. No ideological alliance. Emirati foreign policy is guided by Emirati interests: sovereignty, security and regional stability.

The UAE can support Palestinian statehood while maintaining dialogue with Israel. That is not a contradiction. That is diplomacy.

To the Muslim Brotherhood, Iran-backed proxies and their sympathizers abroad: the UAE will not outsource its foreign policy to ideological movements, street politics or those watching the region from thousands of miles away.

We reject extremism. We reject antisemitism. We reject political Islamism.

Others may choose slogans. The UAE chooses statecraft.

We will speak to whom we choose, protect our interests and help shape the future of a region we actually live in.

UAE sovereignty. UAE security. UAE interests.
