On January 27th our democratically elected school board will be asked to vote on effectively ending the universal mask mandate.
I would love to see a panel of teachers and students share their thoughts and experiences over the last two years instead of people who get paid to have opinions. Don’t just talk about teachers, please interview them.
I have an idea: instead of mindlessly checking social media in downtime, I’ll send out a thought to the twitterverse. Today: love is connection + vulnerability
One of my kids was carrying around my spouse’s Book of Common Prayer all over the house. I stopped him to make sure he didn’t plan to take it outside (and leave it there). He said, oh no mom, this is very important. It’s my spell book.
I’d love to talk with @LilNasX & @lizzo about how the Church has demonized queer and women (particularly Black women)’s sexuality. And how art can preach true gospel: God delights in our pleasure.

I wish folks would stop telling young people how to manage their money. I paid $310 for my first apartment. Based on inflation, it should go for $850 per month now but the rent is $1600. You can’t “personal finance” your way out of of greedy landlords and depressed wages
