@CryptoStu3 The math is straightforward. You can also test the math for a globe earth if you are close to a high mountain with a known altitude. I live not too far from Mt Fuji so I’ll check the next time it’s visible with a precise inclinometer. I’d be happy to share the math if you’d like.

@CryptoStu3 The higher you go, the lower the horizon would be. The equation I wrote shows the angle you would be pointing downward if you were 10 km high if the globe has a 6371 km radius. If you go higher, you would be pointing down lower until you point directly at the horizon.

@CryptoStu3 You can try this experiment with any mountain that is relatively tall. Just don’t forget to take into effect the altitude from where you’re measuring as well.

@CryptoStu3 If you are in Japan and far enough away from Mt. Fuji where it’s still visible you can check the angle to the top of Fuji with a very precise inclinometer. Knowing your distance to Fuji, its height, and the angle you observe, you can check if the Earth is flat or curved.

@Ticklesoul @mzw_13 @TheProjectUnity The idea I’ve heard (I can’t confirm this) is that the light during NDEs comes with such intense feelings of love, and although souls want to stay out of the body, they are manipulated through the feelings of love to come back and then they get their memories wiped.

People can have whatever belief they want, but if you want to check for yourself, I’ve offered the experiment.

@thug_liafe @RobotPolisher Many people tend to just parrot the attitudes and beliefs of a certain community once they join it and they stop using critical thinking against the community itself and become brainwashed by the community. You see that in basically every group, FE included.
