@gingosamuel@Gingo What i have learned from some people within the country, the pride is within most people who tend to be exposed. Hence leaving most people within in bondage
@realDonaldTrump Then what's the essence of finding someone guilty of all counts en still keep them alive in regards of practicing law. Doesn't make sense
@byakutaga_99923 If all operations go on well, without any hesitation I can tip a surgeon but not him asking for money en yet he's being paid. But for professions who save lives like this, let them not be over harassed i think. Still thanks for investigations
@goodhe4rted I think compared to some other neighboring countries, Uganda is still safe cos hell happens out in countries most Ugandans haven't seen anything still continue praying it doesn't come here though it's where the country is heading I guess, so we tighten up

Court denies bond to Chinese national wanted in Uganda over UGX. 4.5 billion fraud.
A Nairobi court has denied bond to a 39-year-old Chinese national wanted in Uganda to face criminal charges arising from an alleged fraud involving UGX4,533,379,400 (approximately KSh151 million).
The court today found that the prosecution had demonstrated compelling reasons to warrant the continued detention of Chen Guang, alias Alex, pending the hearing and determination of extradition proceedings against him.
Guang will remain in custody as the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) pursues his extradition to Uganda, where he is wanted to answer to 30 counts of forgery and one count of theft.
The prosecution told the court that Guang allegedly manipulated weighbridge bills and payment vouchers while working as a cashier at Diamond Steel Uganda Limited. He is accused of exploiting his access to the company’s payment documentation and financial processes to facilitate the alleged offences.
The extradition proceedings were initiated following a formal request from the Government of Uganda received by the Director of Public Prosecutions on June 10, 2026.
The request, dated 18th of April 2025, was transmitted through the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice and sought Kenya’s assistance in endorsing and enforcing a Ugandan warrant of arrest and facilitating Guang’s surrender to Uganda to face the charges.
Guang was arrested on 11th of August 2026, at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi by officers from the Directorate of Immigration Services shortly after arriving from Harare, Zimbabwe.
The arrest followed a warrant issued by Chief Magistrate Aciro Joan of the Mukono Chief Magistrates’ Court in Uganda.
Prosecution Counsel Fatma Shaban urged the court to uphold Guang’s detention, arguing that his release on bond would pose a risk to the extradition process.
Ms. Shaban cited compelling reasons, including concerns that Guang is a flight risk and could evade the jurisdiction before the extradition proceedings are concluded.
Prosecution is led by Senior Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Vincent Monda, alongside Duncan Ondimu and Fatma Shaban.

Why do these guys care more of the customers than the drivers, you can't wait for almost 10mins and unfortunately the person cancels and or going for a 3km pickup yet same pay, I think our guys of safe should consider changing somethings asap
@SafeBoda Review how you treat your drivers, Uber paid for waiting time suppose a rider delays more than 5mins. You only care for clients not drivers. Tell how a client cancels the request and you score the driver's cancellation percentage.
@SafeBoda Drivers might consider registering with more other apps since they meet challenges with safecar, and once clients know that it's easy to get a Faras than safecar then they'll switch to Faras. @farasugapps . Faras doesn't charge for paying commission on Airtel.

@SafeBoda You might have come into business earlier than Faras, Ride now , Little rides and spasho, but suppose you don't review how much coercion you put onto drivers, you'll end up loosing the game to your competitors. And the line between this is very thin.
@AKasingye What do you think of high fuel price, and stagnant commission, i didn't like Uber but they did right cos they i think they looked at instead of changing their agreements better they roll back. Good move since they have other places which payments rhyme with the economy within
