@SorchaEastwood And therein lies the problem. No one cares about what happens in 5/10/15 years time, but with some strategic planning 5/10/15 years ago a lot of the problems we currently face could have been avoided.
@AerLingus Arrived in Edinburgh tonight on my rescheduled flight. Wanted to say thank you to all the staff working hard to get people where they are going. I realise I was incredibly lucky with my flight, and very glad for it.
@RhiannonSarahC I have had this happen and it is scary and horrible. I still think about it ten years later, which makes me angry that someone so vile and insignificant can have even that impact on my life. I hope you're okay, it's not a nice experience.
@DUPleader Consider the absolute partisan tribalism necessary to whitewash a bunch of loyalist thugs literally fire-bombing a bus as not-real law breakers, just because she's so hopelessly desperate to score points against Sinn Féin
A priest, a pastor, and a rabbit entered a clinic to donate blood.
The nurse asked the rabbit: "What's your blood type?"
"I'm probably a Type O", said the rabbit.
@moneillsf Easy to score points when you sat on home while the NHS here went down the drain. Lack of pay parity, massive waiting lists, under funded hospitals, it's all on you guys. Maybe you could start by dropping parking charges so we don't have to pay to work?
@moneillsf How can you stand there and moan about the Tories when you and the DUP do nothing but score points off each other to the detriment of this country? The whole executive is an absolute joke, none of you could care less about the people of NI.
@NicholaMallon@mhclg I think the NI government have done a good enough job dismantling themselves. Infrastructure in this country is an absolute disgrace. More concerned with petty politics than actually working to better people's lives.
@barrydoe3 @GuildBoi @Kathbum Thanks all, deleting now. Moment of madness getting into politics/ current affairs on twitter but respect everyone has very differing opinions.
@GuildBoi @Kathbum To be honest, I'm mostly ambivalent about the Meghan situation, but I think the should have seen it coming attitude towards her could discourage normal people who are in smaller scale similar situations, like domestic abuse victims, from speaking out.
@chelseasomba I used to work in dialysis, with people who could lose their chance at a transplant if they had a cold, and we were still hauled up and threatened if we were sick too much. Hopefully things will change!
