Sporadically messaging your team saying “lock in” with zero effort to help them organize or support directly

IS NOT PROJECT MANAGEMENT

AI Search is coming to Roblox.

Users can search for phrases or sentences of games they would want to play (even mentioning off-platform games), and the model will curate and provide you games that match your search query in natural language.

hello there the jacobian conjecture is false thanx to my close friend akhil for asking about it and my other close friend fable for working during the world cup final

((1+xy)^3 z + y^2 (1+xy) (4+3xy), y + 3 x (1+xy)^2 z + 3 x y^2 (4+3xy), 2 x - 3 x^2 y - x^3 z): \C^3\to \C^3, has jacobian determinant -2, and sends (0, 0, -1/4), (1, -3/2, 13/2), and (-1, 3/2, 13/2) to (-1/4, 0, 0)

For 20 years, Roblox has been on a mission to remove limits on what gaming is – and what it can be.
Today, we're introducing Build – a new way for anyone to create a game on Roblox from their phone. And we’re expanding AI-powered tools for developers of every level.
We're doing this for one reason: The world needs more play.
Play is humanity's oldest technology for connection and learning. Before agriculture, before commerce, before civilization, we played together. And as the world has become more fragmented, the need for play only grows. Our role is to remove every obstacle between that play and the people who want to create it. Faster iteration and fewer technical constraints. And more room to push further than a single creator – or a small team – could have gone in the past.
This isn’t just for studios who've already proven themselves. Some of the most important work in this industry has come from first-time creators – who were often Roblox players first – with a single focused idea.
Between now and RDC, we'll incrementally roll out what we are building to make all of this real – new tools for creators, new ways for players to play, and new ways for people to find the things they love.

I made most of my success on Roblox through game acquisitions. I acquired and ran most of big wins that people talk about when you think of acquisitions.

Here is my advice for developers if they are thinking of selling, or being approached by 10,000 different people asking to "buy" your game.

YOU DONT HAVE TO SELL

NEVER sign a contract with an option, right of first refusal or clauses to buy more of your game at a later date

NEVER SELL MAJORITY

THERE ARENT ANY SECRETS, most of these guys promise that they will help your game, like they are some secret keyholder to the algorithm... most of the people can't or won't help with your game.

The business model is the following: buy a game, and wait for the algorithm to pick it up. If the algo picks it up, put a team on it.

People offer big $$$ when they know your game is going to blow up, so if you are getting offers for millions of dollars, remember that your game is likely to earn that over its lifetime!

There are a few times I suggest selling, if they are the right team, and are providing real value. For example, doing live ops, or only buying a small minority % so you can derisk incase the project performs badly.

You can do it yourself and you will learn more in the process. So remember that!
