@Edenlife9 I pretty much figure that no one follows a religion perfectly. It's human nature to group up whether every human believes in every tenant of their particular chosen group. As for God's... not sure i believe in them. If they exist, they don't care, or are very misunderstood
@eLPatterns@Edenlife9 I really don't have a problem with Christ, but the Jewish God and Christians should follow his example. Being one with Christ, or confessing to follow Christ.
@eLPatterns@Edenlife9 Then you have contradictions like John 3:16. For God so unconditionally loved man, he immediately set up conditions to be saved. I think it more likely that Christ made his sacrifice so that all could be saved and then his followers added to the message to create a believers club
@eLPatterns@Edenlife9 If you actually read the Bible and see the aspects of Christ that made him more than human. His forgiving nature and compassion for all. I can believe in him.
@eLPatterns@Edenlife9 The only reconciliation I can conceive of is that Christ really did mean it when he said 'it is done', and his followers chose to be very human and make a group mentality surrounding the following of Christ. When instead, every person believer or not is already saved from God
@eLPatterns@Edenlife9 He created eden with the very trigger he knows man will choose to pull to cause all the suffering and hate in the world. Either the creation story is poetic license, or God's design had some serious flaws, or we truly have misjudged the nature of God as good.
@eLPatterns@Edenlife9 God knows man will fail, but still classified his creation as good, while fully aware that the end game involves Armageddon. Either God doesn't know all, or he's evil. Thus i either disbelieve in him, or choose to believe in him and fully decide to oppose him.
@eLPatterns@Edenlife9 The issue is have with the Bible involves the contradictory nature of God and Christ while trying to state that they're the same being. You have God that floods his own creation for choosing to use the free will given them by an all knowing God that knows the future.
@Simmulator117@taco_talks Roman's 3:23. Stop worrying about that you may have sinned, because we can't get around our sinful nature. Just be sincere in repentance and look to Christ, since he made the sacrifice that offers us a chance at forgiveness for our sins.
